Nubank pays for delivery and medical consultation for its customers

Performed by: Nubank

Country: Brazil

In march 2020, the Brazilian fintech created a R$ 20 million fund from its marketing budget and other efficiency gains, and entered into partnerships to help customers’ expenses with remote medical and psychological assistance, orders from supermarkets and pharmacies, among other services. The initiative works like this: customers contact the bank, explain their needs and Nubank directs them to a company or institution partner of the initiative. The Sírio-Libanês hospital, for example, is providing 1,000 consultations on its medical tele-orientation platform for Nubank customers. The Zenklub psychological services platform will work in a similar way. The partnership with iFood and Rappi will work via credits that can be used for food deliveries or other purchases. The purchase and delivery charges will be paid by Nubank.
